Stats for a poisn bone necro?

ok, i just started a new necro and im doing bone and poison, but i need help for my stats i dont know wether to put lots in vit or dex...plz post and help me

well that depends on your outcome... naturally high VIT means high life- which is what everyone wants.

My bone necro was a dueller so i focused on high blokcing rate.
I raised its STR and ENERGY lvl to 100, donating the rest between VIT and LIFE.

Having a 75% blocking rating means that amazons,melee druids, sassins, and melee barbs have a hard time hitting me- let alone getting to me.

I would go with max block if you are using homonculus

Unfortunately i'm not using homoculcus. I'm stuck with a p.diamond Sigons.

I'm trying to pack on the MF to find it.

I've maintained my blocking rate at 69%, but i can't be bothered to level up beyond 75. [but i will lvl up to 99 sometime]

Well, so a poison dagger venomnacer is a similar set up to a bone necro?

If you are thinking of using the poison dagger skill, you will be getting up close and personal with the monsters. You definitely want max block then.

and use spineripper... +1 nec... itd and pmh... just a tip.. although i would HIGHLY recommend against a psn dagger build.. it just sux too much nuts.... u'll get raped.. necro's dont get very good life-to-vit ration either... so it's just overall not a good idea

I would recommend Blackhog's Sharp over Spineripper, cos you don't need ITD with the AR bonus of Poison Dagger skill and the other mods are nicer on Blackhog. But I suppose they're both good enough

i agree- blackhogs sharp [except kris- unique] is great for a venomancer. i'm starting one myself, so i am yet to see its power

Yeah like wise. During duels, can a venomancer actaully kill another character class with poison?

You would want to use poison nova, its muuuuuuuch easier to hit them with that, but it would be sweet if you could actually manage to catch them with a poison dagger. Maybe you could try using loads of faster r/w? With 20k+ poison from the dagger, that could be funny, tell us if you actually manage to do it. Its going to be hard if not impossible though....

thanks- i'm starting a venomancer with poison dagger as my L-click attack. This is going to be quite a test.
