What is the difference?

RP PvE (role playing player vs environment)

or

PvP (player vs player)
RP PvP (role playing player vs player)

I know what the difference between pve and pvp are, but I don't know the difference between PvE and RP PvE. Can someone please explain this to me?

i think anything with role playing will include the ability to improve upon the characters such as with stats, skills, or equipment while regular player games do not

So you're saying that in the RP realms, players can choose the categories in to which they place their stat points (like in Diablo 2)?

Yeah, all RP means is that people act like they are in the game, instead of playing it. Like instead of introducing myself as Derek, my real name, I would call myself Necrositron, my WoW name.
