I've never been a big fan of religion, but I find this pretty amusing.
[Removed]: it's a religion worshipping a flying spaghetti monster
[Removed]: their heaven has a stripper factory and a beer volcano
[Removed]: and they believe that global wamring is caused by a decline in the number of pirates
They even have a petition.
Flying Spaghetti Monster Petition Wrote:I suspect they will find it harder to ignore us when we have the pirate ship, with cannons, etc.
LOL.
Discuss.

i think that all the believers dont really believe in it. they're just supporting it in a mockery of other religions
"hey! we're just like you! our stuff is ****ing unbelievable too! water to wine, walking on water, and a giant spaghetti monster!"
i like how they pointed how ridiculous some studies are with the connection between global warming and pirate population

Since when do they have to be confirmed legal to be a religion? There's a little something called separation between church and state.

It's a mock thing...the guy wants people to try and prove it wrong. It's like with god...you can't disprove his existance but you also can't prove it.

I believe he offered money for anyone that can disprove it...
It's not as bad as Scientologists who believe that whole alien theory.

he's creating a religion of his own that can neither be proved nor disproved to mock other religions.
let's face it. most religions ask us to believe in some unbelievable stuff. he's using that to his advantage to take on religions as a whole

Yeah, it's funny stuff.
Also, back on scientology for a second, how can you take a religion seriously when you have to pay to join and it was started by a science fiction writer?

Again he's not actually serious. But I do classify myself as being a member of this religion because it's hilarious.
