A Hammerdin In Uber Tristrim???

What if i stacked my barb up with a lot of cb and had some kind of leach to stay alive??

lol in 24hours i killed 3 mini ubers. Uber duriel twice and Lilith once. With a Godly lightning sorc(38k) a Hammerdin A person using a hammerdin or a ww barb(used both on different runs) and my conc barb tanking. We killed duriel in like 20 seconds and lilith was a little harder but we kick her ass eventually.(like a few minutes) We have been owning mini ubers but would these party stand a chance in uber trist?

no, we said over and over, barbs and hammerdins dont work in uber trist. uber trist is on a whole nother level than the crappy body part droppers. there are unlimited monster spawns, and barb will die.

i usually run it with a smiter (typical build, alma negra shield, for some reason hoz is real expensive in new ladder, using treks, but now i KNOW i have to switch to gores! (1/8 off?? thats awesome)) and i have 2 hammerdins accompany me for taking down the little enemies (hammerdins can only do support, they dont do any damage against the bosses) and a shield necro, which is my invention of maxing bone prison, skeleton mastery, revive, and life tap, with insight as weapon (so u dont have to rely on merc) which works well, and is a very safe way if you dont want to die since you are so close to lvling (cant tp in uber trist). ran uber trist 3 times in 1 day.

Barbs do not die in Ubertrist, usually they just don't do enough damage to make them useful. They BO though, which is helpful. At the moment, I am thinking that a Frenzy Barb with lots od CB and AR would actually do decently, but he may still need help...

a barb is very good at surviving i got a barb on ueast ladder i did ubertrist (had a smiter with me) but i was tanking everybody needed life tap and pots vs meph cause of stuiped aura and my barb has pretty low life for a barb. and i got pretty decent ar i think if i had cb i could kill em

Yeah, all you guys are on ladder though i on nonladder. But it wouldn't be my barb alone. My barb would just be the support. Tanking the bosses and little monsters while somebody else kills. And wouldn't a 42k lightning sorc do well in uber trist cause my friend has one and it owns. I know what you guys are saying that smiters are awesome in uber trist but would it be possible to beat without a smiter. We have 4 people to help so we have a good combination of chars we could use.

barbs make a very good tank, but when it comes to actually taking on all the minions on uber meph, well lets just say he cant leech fast enough. his swing is so massive that it takes to long. the best char for ubers is definately a smiter pall, with an eth exile vortex shield with high resist, coa, bk, rf, or damage,resit,str,dex rings, verdungos, gores, dracs, maras, high def low req coh. that should get you pretty well equiped but it is a lil expensive..


a smiter is best choice but yes you can do with other chars hellsing.

I've only been in uber trist once helping a friend and that was for like 2 minutes helping a friend. I tanked uber meph(very little minions) all by myself with my ww barb with horrible gear. But i cant remeber what all minions are immune to. Would a lightning sorc do anything to them??
