Smiter Question

I have a 383/33 greif zerker, i want to use drac's for ubers. so i need 21% more ias for breakpoint. where do i get this ias from? should use highlords and sell my greif for a 34 ias. or what i dont knwo im confused. i have an eth exile for life tap but that's only a 5% chance.

1% ias wont do much, just put on 20ias/10% CB gloves and cast lifetap once on uber meph (the only hard one) with a lifetap stick or just hope =) ur ammy should be a maras

u need 54% for the breakpoint, i will only have 53%, that 1% is makeing me miss the Breakpoint.

Also why does Range on the weapon matter, if your goign to be a smiter your going to be hitting with your sheild anyways. so wouldn't a phase blade and a zerker be the same thing?

Also if your a smiter, your going to be using your sheild, so why does range matter, for a zerker or phase blade, shouldn't the range not matter since your using the shield?

What helm are you wearing? Is it socketed with something? BTW, I think Highlords is the best amu for a smiter...+1 skills, ias, ds and light ress...Just use Highlords and maybe put an ias jewel into your helmet

deadly strike doesnt work on smite, maras give all res, +2 skills, no ias (wich is usless if u use pb) so highlords isnt so good. it's more of a 'old skool' ammy that isnt used often

yea but phase blade doesn't have range. im gonna be wearing 2 socket COA , Drac's /Gore's / BK's / Greif / Eth Exile/ Dungo's /

try using last wish instead of grief. u only use grief for the ias anyways. if you want ias use a 6soc shael'd pb. (pb has the fastest base weapon speed)but with last wish you pick up might aura, 60 to 70 crushing blow, and another chance to cast life tap. which everyone knows is a smiters life line. so if you used dracs, last wish, and exile you would be sporting 3 auras and 3 chance to cast life tap.

ias jewels in your coa if you don't have any open sockets, as above, use last wish setup

I've never really noticed the 1 range difference between BA and PB in a duel. I'll be sure to announce it if I ever see someone who consistently beats me due to higher range only.
