crushing blow to smiter?

I have heard that its good to use crushing blow to a smiter..

so what does crushing blow do exaktly and why is it so good??

Duress, frw. And what is death zerk and beast zerk?? it is something for a frenzy barb but i dont know exaktly what it is..?

No, that's deadly strike. CB takes away a small fraction of the target's remaining health, which is what makes it so powerful against bosses.

Deadly Strike = 2x Damage. (Does NOT work with Smiter.)
Crushing Blow = Takes a fraction of the monsters health. (Works with Smiter.)

yes. crushing blow works kinda like a sorc's static. it takes a percentage off their life. good way to test it is to solo a hell baal run. when you go to kill baal, you'll notice that it takes about 5 secs to knock baal down to half life after that it slows down. (although a sorc's static only works to half life crushing blow will continue to work just no taking much extra life off) example: if a monster has 10,000 life and u take 25% of that, that's 2,500 life. then the monster is down to 7,500 life. you take another 25% of that, that's only 1875 life. you get the picture.

there was a guide somewhere about crushing blow, basically when it triggers it takes off 25% of the enemies REMAINING life. So against a monster with 1000HP, ud do 250+dmg from smite. assume u did 0 smite dmg, then he'd have 750life left, then next time u triggered crushing blow, it would take off 25% of 750, not another 250. Because of this crushing blow can never actually kill someone. this is hella useful in getting bosses down to about 1/3 HP, esp those with MASSIVE amounts like the ubers
