lol I got hacked for the first time in 4 years since i started playing d2.. Wow I dont have the slightest clue who did it but they got my friend first and I guess went after everyone on his freinds list... I was fully loaded too. I survived the warden but got hit with a hacker lol... Oh well so how is everyones christmas day/eve going? Hope mine goes better now. I didnt think i could get hacked my pass was so hard i could barley remeber it.. I wont be playing d2 anymore till i get some items lined up for right now ill just play counterstrike or guildwars. Well everyone have a Merry christmas and a happy new year!!!

my friend got hacked as well, hes on east though so i dont need to worry, for now. I dont know how but people must've figured out a way to hack accounts more easily than with bruteforce
Last time u were on ur account, did u have like, 1000 failed login attempts or sumtin?
Well anyway, sucks to lose all ur shit like that, i remember i got banned in 09 just when i got a 40hexer ith barb and on east just when i got ith zerker, i was really pissed, but i have other accounts who didnt get banned so i dont know entirely how you feel
Well i hope u have a merry christmas besides quite a loss, and dont let it get to ur head, diablo 2 is worse than crack, thats why its so good

lol yes it is very true.. No I was on d2 at the time i was in game trading my greif for items and when i left game i went to sign on screen and my pass was invalid lol nice way to start off the day.

ive had somthing similar happen to me but in 09 a guy told me to goto a channel to talk so i did then he said for me to logout for 5 mins then come back (i was a noob then so i did what he said). tried loging on and password had bein changed

I did that once, i was keylogged and i knew it...he/she was trying to log on while i was on, i immediately xfered all my nl stuff, went on other account and got it..then when i tryed to go back on my account to xfer my ladder stuff, invalid pass...it had been changed while i was still xfering...but due to the crappiness of my account he/she gave it back. dont let it get u down, its just a game and pixels, go out and enjoy christmas!

yeah I got hacked once before also, nonladder east
and hell yeah i was pissed but they only got 1 godly as hell char
so it wasnt so much of a loss but now i couldnt rush hell
then next thing ya know a friend whom i knew personally $!#%!! O.O STOLE FROM ME!

how did he hack you anyway?? I remember getting hacked when i first started, damn corspe popping bs in 08 or 09. But then i got even better stuff lol so it didn't matter. Did he hack you in a game or you go to a channel, how the **** did he get your password?

I have no clue how I was hacked. I have never been hacked before I have never been stupid enough to give my password out and I know all the scam's in the book so I can steer away from them.. But I always leave d2 on in my clan channel with my bot in there too. So maybe someone came in there and bruted me I am not exactly sure.. But hey thats how it goes I guess live and learn I guess I had a full account of 8 gg chars all nl.. I was working on lving my barb/druid/hammerdin lol to complete the account I entered a game to trade my greifz and bam when i left i got disconneted for bnet and pass was changed lol damn..
