Question for d2loader

Hey I was wondering if there is any way for me to get those mpq files anywhere else? I left my disc at my house because my brother had the game at the house I am at but he left with his disc and now i am left without a disc so I was just wondering if there is any way for me to get a hold of those mpq files without the disc so that I can run d2loader and play the game?

umm nope i doubt you can do this w/o a disc.

Hmmm....I thought that maybe it was possible for someone to copy their mpq files and post on a site. Is that possible? And if it is, anyone know where I could find those mpq files?

Thnx, I just started downloading the first one but it will take a while. I was wondering why I need to download 3 files when I only need 2 mpq files? And since these files hav different names, are they the files I'm looking for just renamed or what?

Iso acts like a .rar or .zip its in it.

damn i was downloading the first one and it was taking so long that it timed out at 51%. I won;t be able to download them because they too big I guess.

Hey. I finished downloading it but what do I do with it after that? i saved it to diablo directory but it still says missing 2 mpq files insert disc. i dony know what else to do. got any ideas?

hmm downlaod the exp.iso

then copy d2xvideo.mpq, d2xmusic.mpq, and d2xtalk.mpq files and put them in the d2folder.

d2loader should work then

dont forget to install patch 1.11B as well the use d2loader

i think d2loader only works with expansion so if u dont have expansion, heres what u do:

download the exp.iso and burn all the files onto a burnable disc.

Put d2xvideo.mpq and d2xmusic.mpq in your diablo directory and your set.

alrite thnx. but when i download the exp.iso file will it have those mpq files in it? Because when I downloaded the play.iso it was a program that you have to chose what opens it.

you should really delete those links. Those are full cd's arnt they? Its considered warez and might get you in trouble.

I finished downloading it now but it still doesn't work and I saved it into the diablo directory. what do I do now?
