Change colour of items

Hi my question is how i can change the colour of items... for example i want to have runes in gold... but how can i do this.
i downloaded the RGX-Mod from *******.net and there are screenshots on the site where the colour was changed... i read the readmes but there is now word from changing colour of items... only from game names.

now my question: can i change the colour of items with THIS program (RGX-Mod) or what must i do ? pls help

yes i did that and the colors are already edited... that means the fal rune for example has the color \tan but in the game it is white.. but why?
