Ok, I've recently signed on again to see whats new on D2S, and seeing all the same people here posting the same old stuff is great. I want to thank so many people for running such a great site, I don't know how many times I've posted 'thanks' but not enough threads are enough to show everyone how much I appreciate you guys. This site would be in my books, 'legendary.' Thanks to this site, I've now got into graphic design, computer hardware, foruming, computer security, and more games. You guys rock. Thank-you to all.

the truth is that it's kinda winding down here. mostly just diablo related questions now. no real serious debate threads going on

I hear ya, man... And I think I kinda take this site for granted. It's gotten me into graphics, a bit of programming, and has mostly given me a hope for human intelligence (at least some of the people here, I like to overlook the morons) and I suppose I'd like to give thanks to Blizzsector for being a major timekill in my life.

However, all good things must come to an end, and I think we ARE starting to wind down... I've suggested to Spit the addition of a Halo 2 section to bring new members, and he's coisidering it, apparently.

If not for diis, I would'nt know anything about webmastering, GFX design, and I would know a lot less about computers. Even though the site may wind down, things will shoot back up when D3 comes out (if it actually comes out like we heard).

I dont think it will wind down for long. But I see alot of people signing up to site and there first post is to flame someone or try to get us to download something that has trojan's in it etc then you never see them again lol. We need more serious people. I tell people about this site all the time. I get a few people to sign up. But all in all I try to help where I can.

I plan on being here for a while.

i think that to get this site rolling again, the mods need to be a little more lax on threads. not that i think the they are overstrict. the site seems fine as if but i think it would keep a new member's interest longer when there are more people to help or flame

i think it was a mistake for me to post what i did about the site winding down. i dont want to make karant's welcome back thread into a forum style discussion. i think we should just stop talking about that

Agreed, if it wasn't for D2S I wouldn't know half the stuff I know about Photoshop, or any type of graphics at that. Good to see some of the older members are still here, I still wish some of the others were active though such as Muder or Lyc.

Ya, I'm thinkin with Blind. The last time I complained was about fairness and equal distribution of a warning, but I knew I deserved it.

But does this thread mean karant is finally coming back or is it just to say thanks?
