you do get multiple corpses. what he is talking about is a 09 thing. you can still lose items thou in 1.10 on. if you have 2 corpses with items on both, bnet will decide which has the more expensive items and only give you that one.

i had my body popped, and if u think about it, a full tal set is worth more in gold than magefists and twitchthhroe, yet in the new game the tal set was gone and the body only had mag fists and twitch left, but that was back in the day when i was poor.

this is how u lose ur items on ur character:

you die with ur regular gear on, you put new gear back on, die again, leave game. (i think blizz saves only the items on ur most recent corpse and deletes the other one with full character) trust me this happened twice to me.

I thought that the "item fountain" bug was fixed in 1.09? Now don't You just get multiple corpses? If You have multiple corpses with different eq on them, it only saves the corpse with the most value in money into the next game. So if on one corpse You have Tal amu and Twitchroe, and Tal armor and Mara on the other one, it will save the one with Mara and Tal armor because they are more valuable (in money) than the other two.
