Best rune?

OK i know that there alot of runes, which makes alot of rune words. But what is the best rune out there? Like which rune is everybody trying to get, the best sale value? Im just trying to get some good stuff, so i need some pointers, ( i havent played for a while) so i need some help. I know the zod rune is the rarest, but do people want that more than a ber or stuff like that. Please help, Thnx

i would say ohm... used in 7 runewords.

In my opinion, Ber is the best. Used in a lot of runewords and has really useful effects by itself. Crushing Blow in weapons and Damage Reduction in armor. Also, it's one of the components of the armor which makes Diablo as great as it is, namely Enigma.

Right now on ladder I like Lo and ohm.. Greif, faith And fort lol.. Gonna be worth alot when ladder resets too.

There isn't really a BEST rune, but the best ones would be all of the High Runes (Vex, Ohm, Lo, Sur, Ber, Jah, Cham, and Zod).

A good place is doing Hell Countess runs in act one. She doesn't drop all of the runes, but she drops up to Lo(I think). Also, killing hell baal is a good place to find runes, my friend found a Cham once.

Hmm i would have to say is one of 4 runes ohm, Vex jah and Ber but sometimes Cham, i find Enigma to be a Very popular Rune word or Call to Arms, Even Breathe of the Dying

Ber is the best rune - no question. It has amazing mods and is used in top runewords including Enigma. Lo is certainly in the running for ladder though because of Grief and Fort. But seriously, would you trade a Ber for someone's Lo? I don't think so. While we are on the topic of runes, I think Lem and Pul are a lot more valuable now that you can up exceptional uniques with them.

I agree Ber is Very popular and i find Runes alot dropped by the Countress, the Summoner or Nihlathak(Doing Key runs)

I agree with Ber being the best rune to have but the thing is that there is a possibility that it is duped. Ohms on the other hand are quite often obtained by combining 4 Guls from forge drops therefore there is a smaller chance of them poofing.

Atm i will say Vex-Ohm-Ber -jah perhaps Sur and lo depends on what runes word u gonna make, Ohm is pretty rare because u can use it many runewords

well i mainly want to to know this because i need to see what runes i need to get ,from runs that i do, to get good mf gear. I just started all over so im trying to get my mf sorc going, so i find some stuff and branch off to other charc.

yeah do countress run's thats where I find the most rune's I mean even on ladder a lem, lum or um can eventually get you some good items. I had countress drop ist um and terror key once. That was a awsome drop. Save up a few ist and um's and you be able to get another char going.

Runes like Ohms and Vexes are not rare at all! Those are some of the most common runes out there and they are mostly obtained from forge rushes.

jahs used in enigma too. jahs used in lastwish ,nigma,phoenix. but yeah bers the best there is. ber is also in infinity too. but yeah a zod rune's always useful.

Hm a bit surprised by loits comment according to Arreats summit (blizzard) the best runes there can drop in hellforge rush is Mal-ist would like to if someone else has find Vex or ohm there???? I have done tons of rush but never find any of these runes there

You haven't found a vex or ohm from a forge because.....THEY CAN'T DROP FROM HELLFORGE!!!!! The highest runes that drops from forge is gul.

I just don't get zoding eth items. I mean wouldn't you want to have, say, an um'd HOZ rather than an eth Zod'd one? Zoding an eth just makes you lose the socket slot in exchange for more def/damage and it dones't seem worth it considering the alternatives - especially since you are spending an hr! Of course, Zod makes BOTD so I can't give it too much crap.
