i have a cd that has a game demo on it, (got it from a magizine) the cd works on my 7 year old laptop, and my 5 year old desktop, but not my xps gen 5......... why dont it work on mine?

heres the cd drive models if that helps
DVD-Rom Drive : SONY DVD-ROM DDU1615
DVD-Rom Drive : _NEC DVD+-RW ND-3530A

the demo is for battlefield2, i want to test it out before i buy it, its maybe 3 or 4 months old, but works fine in other computers
