Just starting out on ladder, no godly equipement or anything to work with. What's the best character to use to start getting geared up for other builds? One that can easily do NM Countess, Travincal. Hell Andy. Preferably

Don't do that.

Make a Blizzard sorc. If you have no clue about how to make one, look for my MF guide thread in the character development section.

You can listen to this fruits or you can make a hammerdin which is good all around for everything. Like a cold sorc or light sorc you can become light or cold immune. With hammerdin theres is none.

summoner necro all the way...

when 110 came i decided i wanted to actually play the game again. so i made one and never joined a public game untill i had defeated hell baal alone at level 75-80.

while doing all the quests etc like they were ment to be done- no mf runs... just walking throu for quests. i found vex and ohm, a very close to perf coa 2 arachs. homos wands and alot of elite stuff.. it took me a month but it was well worth it.

i'd say cold sorcy for mf because sorcys are the best chars to make if you don't have the best items. They already tele unlike hammerdins which need nigma, and already do decent dmg to mf run. they can't key, so you could also make a lite sorcy for that.

You can do summoner for hate keys with a cold sorc. Countess can be done as well, if you have a good merc, but Nihlathak is really difficult.

over all ur best bet is to mke friends that re rich and start mfing....i myself have conveted to ladd and already have some stuff because of a friend plus free rushes anytime
