plzz help

Hey thx for ne one that can help me but i a couple days ago i was jus playin d2 minding my own buisness n i hear a big shrummmm sound then a big CRACK my d2 froze and i opend my cd drive and my daiblo 2 lod cd was in like 7 pices and part if it flew into my cd drive and broke it. now i have been all over sites and even this one. I cant get the d2loader for nocd loader to work. I try everything it says i dont no what to do . somene plzz help me out on this becuse i had made an ew cahr and equppted it with gg gear and in a couple days my cahrs will expire. plz give me gg instructions that somene like a 5 yr old will understand ( im not 5 but still) THX ALOT TO NE ONE THAT CAN HELP ME

You have to have the disk to use it because you have to copy the video and sound.mpq's from the cd first.

my brother has a disc i can borrow but how would i copy those files were would i take them from at my cd e in my computer screen

Oh, ok, well here are the steps:

1.) Install the newest D2Loader from here or d2loader.blizzsector.co
2.) Extract the zipped folder to your D2 directory.
3.) Put in your D2 EXP. disk
4.) Open my computer, then right-click on the Diablo icon and choose 'Explore'.
5.) Copy the 2 files called D2XMUSIC.MPQ and D2XVIDEO.MPQ and paste them in your d2 directory.
6.) Go in your D2 directory and run the D2Loader-1.11b.exe

THX ^^^ now i jus have 1 more question it says in the read me to ONLY run as a window cuz the full screen is untested and it says to add -w to the properties do i do that to d2 loader or to the reqular d2 icon

You can run it in fullscreen thats what I do.

It actually only costs about 10 bucks for a replacement CD, but gj gettin it set up.

well theres another alternative to d2loader but no one will use it...i got this program called alcohol120%...well basically wat it does is that it makes the computer think that u have a second cd drive, its called a "virtual drive" then that program can EXTRACT the d2 exp disc as ONE .BIN file...basically it is a "cd image" it is around 700MB bcoz the cd itself is 700mb...then wat that program does is u can implant the cd image onto the virtual drive...now your computer thinks that u actually have the d2 disc inside a drive...its the same exact thing...i did this bcoz i REALLY REALLY dont wanna get banned lol...im not sure if d2loader gets u banned but im happy with wat im donig lol...if u want more info on this then PM me or contact me thru aim/yahoo/msn...

Alcohol120% puts the info straight onto your harddrive, so you don't need to use a disk to play your game, as GodandRock said, it is like a d2loader for all you paranoid people who think d2loader will get you banned.
