but there is nothing for it you absolutely NEED these items:

HOTO (heart of the oak)
Enigma
HoZ (Herald of Zakuram)
and last but not lest a Shako

it is better if you have the other items... read my guide i just posted it in this section of the forum. those are the items you need for a good hammerdin end of story, if you dont have any of those items no offence but dont bother trying to build the character.

Once built though they are probally the best character in the game. good for everything... even semi ubers (uber izzy, uber duriel and lilith) if they have a good merc.

hammers may be crazy good but they are expensive as hell. i trying to get the gear for 1 right now off keying and shit l;ike that. make a sorc, cheaper and dont need good items to do decent dmg. and no need enigma.
