I got all dll's right and cracking works too ... but I cant load the script

"script not found" it says... what can I do?

well, I found a fix for that -

rename starter_.d2j to starter.d2j
and edit it:

To this:

it creates a game now... but in game, I cant load the bot script because auf all this /and \ troubles

Alright, here's what I've got done so far to get it to work:

1. Download the cracked D2JSP off of the downloads page.
2. Unzip to a folder. I've found that D2JSP seems to have problems with long filenames and/or spaces in the path, so it'd be a good idea to extract it to a folder such as C:\D2JSP.
3. Unzip the d2jspcrack.zip into the SAME folder.
4. Run Diablo 2. Wait for it to load completely and get to the game select screen (single player, battle.net, other multiplayer, etc)
5. Run d2jspcrack.exe.
6. Click OK. The window will disappear.
7. Run d2jsp.exe
8. Click Install / Update.

That should be it. Depending on what script you've got loaded and configured, you may have to manually join a game, or manually log in to battle.net.

Look guys. I know I'm new to the forum, but I was experimenting earlier and I had some success. Make sure you have all the right DLLs. Look throughout this thread to find them (I think). Also, I found that the crack ONLY works with release....37.09 or something like that? It gives a computer beep when you hit install/update instead of any errors. Also, hit "install/update" AFTER logging into a channel, and then start a game and it should load your selected module. For some reason, the newest release isn't compatible with this crack. The reason why is likely a change in code. Also, make sure (as somebody previously said), that each forward slash (/) is changed to a backslash (\) in default.d2j. Do NOT rename starter_.d2j to starter.d2j. It causes errors and fixes nothing. Hope this helps!

EDIT: Confirmed working release (I encountered errors with every other version) is v0.37.09.

EDIT2: Also, check out blizzhackers.com for an in-depth look at more information regarding this topic. They offer the correct version (D2JSP.org seems to force you to download .38 even though you ask to dl a different version...Why, I do not know).

i have run the step by step instruction on page three but i am still getting two error messages concerning the two missing .dll files. does anyone know hot to fix this?

I got my bot to enter the game...but the script I had it run was one from d2jsp.org and it says half this is only for doners...does anyone know where I can download cracked scripts...looking for pwnagepindle

nvm I got a .37 script and it at least runs. Now my prob is that when I join game...I take a couple steps and get the unhandled exception or whatnot everyone seems to be getting...does anyone know how to fix this

This is not a crack, it's BS, It has been tried by the entire blizzhackers forum, it DOES NOT work in any possible way. Refer to my thread where the real most updated d2jsp lies:
