ebug and uped

Everytime i ask someone online how to make ebug coh they tell me the F**K off newb and i was wondering if some1 here could inform me about ebug coh.

And same thing with uped items such as uped arreats or hoz; i would like to know how to up items and wat exactly happens

i think u posted in teh wrong section but i'll still tell u:

ebug means that it is ethereal and has been socketed by a cube forumula using sojs (meaning you get a huge extra enhanced defense), not larzuk. ebug cohs are ethereal yet they are indestructable ( so they can be used like forever). no way you can make an ethereal item indestructable with any rune combination and if there was a way, i don't think people would tell you.

you can upgrade normal unique items into exceptional items in nonladder and ladder realms (ie. magefist light gauntlets to magefist battle gauntlets) for an extra defense bonus.

you can only upgrade exceptional uniques to elite on ladder realms. (ie. hoz guilded shield to hoz zakarum shield). *note that if u want magefist to upgrade to crusader gauntlets, you have to upgrade to exceptional first*

the formulas are made in the horadric cube and can be found in arreat summit

I checked Arreat's and didn't see how to socket etheral using SOJ. I did see adding one socket to a rare time, 3 pskulls+SOJ+rare item = 1 socket rare. Does the COH have to be etheral to start with?... and will this make it indestructable if I did. I only have one SOJ and would hate to burn it unnecessarily.

i'd keep that soj until you are positive of the formula and make sure you are very sure you even want to socket whatever it is....if you really want to waste an soj i'd be happy to find a use for it...

if a formula isnt on arreat summit it probably doesnt exsist

Oh I have use for the SOJ, and I didn't plan on just pissing it away in the cube. I am not rich enough for that and if I get that rich I will happily throw one your way.
