my damage with grief pb doesnt break 1k,
my damage with last wish zerker = nearly 4k at level 71

so my question is -- last wish > grief?

smite dmg is wrong when u look at the attributes section, so you need a smite dmg calculator.

overall, lwz is better because of the fade, cb, and chance of life tap.

i don't know which does more dmg

Of course, grief adds IAS and hidden damage, I prefer LW over grief though, because of the mods that wolf just listed.

You do not see damage on Grief because it's an hidden effect, although i never tried LW for smite...

UPDATE: done nearly 15 torch runs 10x with grief 5x with LW, imo grief >>>>>> LW

Grief beats LW by far in terms of overall actual damage. For PvM, LW might be a bit better in the long run.

Not necessarily. Against monsters with lower amounts of life, crushing blow is practically useless. Against the skeleton minions in Tristram, for example, it takes me about 2 hits to kill each. With a LW, I would need 3 or 4 hits.

Conclusion: LW works better against bosses only. Grief works better everywhere else.

imo grief is always better i dont even thnk about LW anymore because its weak compared to grief... the ias is nice without grief ur attack is as slow as can be ... plus the overall, damage output is higher
