DL'ing doesn't work ... You need to lag the server out, not client side ...

In order to lag dupe, you need to get it to where you can walk around perfectly fine, but when you say try to talk to akara she will not say anything.. and it needs to be a constant lag, not just a few second delay or anything.. talking like 2+ mins or enough time for server to actually lose the connection to that game without it dropping. Thats when you need to trade the item to your friend, and then you need to find a way to disconnect from the server without having any information saved. The best way ive found is to power-down your router, or use zonealarm and have it lock down the internet.. both work but the router generally work better. Afterwords just rejoin the game if you can or make a new one, make sure your friend finds a way to save his character again as well, such as changing waypoints ect. and there you go. Its just finding games with that sort of lag that suck.. making them is even harder but its possible using a summoning necro in a high detailed area such as the river of flame / chaos sactuary, or as stated soemwhere above use a light fury zon in cows there is nice lag.. but still thats generally not enough to send the server over the edge.. you can also play with your connection settings, limiting things to help add lag, or go through duel game looking for a nice laggy one..


It is possible , and i have done it before.. but getting the lag to happen is what I cant ever seem to make work.. so i just do it whenever I find a dueling game with that sort of lag..

considering that any soj, hr's, etc that anyone has on closed are dupes, i'd say they arn't too opposed to it. if they are then ditch everything u ever traded for cause it might be dupes.

you can also try 2 meteor and charged bolt sorcs in the Throne in the act 2 stage, that makes MONSTROUS LAG if you dont have the best connection ever

idk if it will help the dupe lag but try turning on soundchaosdebug.
