Help for horadric receipi

Hi !

I'm new to this forum but I have a question. I saw on a good site that for getting an exceptional armor from a normal one, you to put: Shael, Tal, P Diamond + the armor. When I do it, it doesn't work.

My armor is: Light Plate good quality, 119 def, socket 3.

Where is the problem ?

There is no cube recipe that allows you to up regular(or socketed) armors - that recipe you have listed (Tal, Shael, PDiamond) only works with upping unique normal armors such as Silk of the Victors (unique ancient armor).

that's for unique armors only. recipe is near the bottom above the 2 ladder only upping recipes. it's the one with 3 links in it.

You can't do it on a Normal item =(

The item must be unique. It can only be upped once. The armor the unique is made out of is raised, therefore raising the defence. Nothing else changes on the item.
