ok well i'm an aspiring photoshop user and i just got it yesterday so bare with me because this is a very retarded question. I can't the color pallet up. the one where you can switch your color by clicking on it. theres a bunch on colors and their little cubes. i tyring for like 30mins and gave up. I'm a photoshop noob so can you plz help

No worries, no stupid questions.
I use CS2, so hopefully this works with whatever version you use too. Go to Window up at the top and click on 'Color' (alternatively I think you can press F6). Now after the color window opens up just click on the 'Swatch' tab and you should be good to go if that's what you were looking for. =)
*EDIT*: I just checked with PS 7.0, and its the same thing with that except there is no F6 shortcut to access the color window. Other than that, its the same steps.

ty jedi. and F6 did work, but i think i got the latest version of photoshop i not sure. i guess i don't then

Yeh, CS2 is the latest version, which the shortcut (F6) works with, so I guess you got CS2 as well. Glad I could help ya out.
