Smiter Weapon HELP

ok i'm making a smiter but i need to know which is better. i'm nl so these both are super expensive. I think lastwish is way way better than greif. greif doesn't have any crushing blow, and lastwish has 60-70%. Last wish also gives you might arua, has good good ed, and has a 10% chance to cast life tap. you need good crushing blow to kill ubers so why do people use greif? and also if i can't afford those i've seen friends use 4 ber'd, 2 sheal'd pb's that work well too. which is better??

You don't exactly need crushing blow to kill them. I've been using a Grief all along and it's great. I don't have any crushing blow whatsoever, but I suppose the fight would end quicker if I put on Guillaume's Face for some.

Remember, once a monster is at low health, crushing blow does close to nothing, and you'll have to rely on raw damage to finish it off. A typical Grief setup offers about twice as much raw damage as a Last Wish setup.

the might aura can compensate for not having any +dmg on LW, plus having might aura and fanact look coold . Fade on LW is extremely helpful at anytime, whether ur dueling or doing ubers.

and anyone who says u need cb to kill ubers is just a complete moron. My old smiter had none and he soloed them on countless occasions. Although if u have cb its usually quite faster

the best weapon other than LW or grief is Astreons or Stormlash, since both got 33%cb, and have ok speed. And astreons has +skills and +dmg

IMO is :::: LW > Grief > StormLash

The reason? Last wish gives Lifetap, Fade, and Might which is all helpful for doing uber

Exile and Drac's both give life tap. With almost 4K life and maxed resists, I usually tank hits long enough for life tap from Drac's to trigger.

Stormlash? Iono high chance you'll get screwed over in Uber because curses don't stack... it's either LifeTap or Amp. But in Pk? GG eZpK ^____^

I've seen smiter friends solo trist with a 4 ber'd 2 sheal'd phase blade. you guy think that would work well, cause greif and lastwish on nl are super expensive. I think that would work better than stormslash.

Another "weapon-type" question. If I put an Um in a shield, do I get the +22 resist all for being in a shield AND +25% Open Wounds because the shield is a smiter weapon?

i don't think so because although you attack with you're shield, it's not considered a weapon.

Yes, I think that OW works with Smite.

LW is much better for PvM than Grief, but for PvP, Grief > LW.

Sorry dude, that doesn't quite make sense, it's like saying that: "Oh, the stats on Goreriders don't work, as you don't kick with them".

open wounds does work with smite, but you wont get the open wounds from an um rune in a shield, because the fact remains that you are still putting it in the shield and not a weapon.

yea blood is right.. and i would say go for grief.. i have dont solo ubers plenty time exile and grief cuts the ubers down to size

exile and grief seems to be the majority opinion. I am trying to trade for those runes now, just need the right shield and weapon to pop them into. And thanks for the info on the Um.

This should not even be a question, if ur a pvp smiter use GREIF, last wish is more of a uber tech wep. The bonus dmg on greif is just unmatched in smite. Crushing blows relies on %, why take chances if u can surely have critical raw dmg amoung greif. Greif is made for pvp smite. Guils face has crush but smiters need the def from coa, aswell as dr. If u want a lil crush use goblin toes that give u 25% plus u can have the raw dmg of greif, which % tops over the ordinary gore riders.

Lol no question about it, grief for pvp and use the last wish if you want a uber killer, that other 4ber'd 2 sheal NO GOOD i mean it works ok but it is not that good.

Lmao, exile is not the best sheild in smite, eth zoded up'ed hoz, or plain up'ed hoz. It has more balanced dmg then exile, and if u need life tap to win in pvp. Dracs and exile are just bm'ed smite items, true smiters should not relie on life tap amoung other strong pvp's. Put that good def into use for melee, have that good dr for them nado's, smite, ect. I've pawned countless exile users ez pk, most exile user dont build there vita right for pvp so they have to relie on the tap.

all the newbys with their "LoL MEH IDEA IZ ZO MUKH BETTA DAN URS" i've used both upped hoz and exile for ubers and the exile works better. if you dont believe me, try both yourself
