To clear up all your thoughts. I don't use Limewire. Im on Comcast Cable with computer specs of... (top notch)
-3.2ghz
-1GB RAM
-128MB RAM (6800 Geforce PCI card)
I can get my ping from 90 to 3k by simple CMD commands.

Wouldn't downloading and using DOS commands only create client-side lag? The whole idea behind this is to lag the server so that it desynchs the game. As far as I know, the only way to achieve this style of lag is to have zons and neros shooting constant poison skills.

wow. thats all i can say. is wow. you people honestly have no clue how lag duping works. you can have a ping of 100k and you wont be able to dupe. downloading, instant messaging, uploading, all of that causes CLIENT SIDE lag. what you need for duping is SERVER SIDE lag. this causes the game to become desynched from the server itsself (meaning that the users are only connected to each other)
how the lag dupe works: when you become desynched, the servers think that you have logged off. then your friend logs onto your account and joins a trusted game with another friend in it. the person on your account then drops those items and leaves battle.net. then your game releases the lag, however it was created, and the game resynchs with the servers, causing battle.net to think that you signed back on. you keep your items because it doesnt load your character, since your already in a game. it will, however, save your character once you leave that game, so you keep your items, and they are still in the game your friend left them in too.
creating server side lag: search for different methods. cow/zon, necro/zon,
there are plenty of ways of doing this.
