windowed game...?

ok well i have one of the worst PC's but yet i still want to play diablo so i want to open a windowed game because it'll make me able to deal woth pop-ups and the game. so my request is that somone will walk me thru how to open a windowed game. i know i'm supposed to type like -w in the game parameter or somthing. so i just want to be walked thru please. thank you
