Am i gaurenteed max sockets in hell?

Cant really trust talk in the public chat rooms i know but this guy was convinced that if you Find an item in hell diff and socket using larzuk in hell diff it will give the most sockets possible. I have a Ethreal Zerker that im scared to socket. If you go in the trade rooms there are Ethreal no socket Cb's and Zerkers being traded for many 290's. This makes me think that guy is right and i should go socket that zerker right now!!

yes larzuk guarantees max sockets if u wanna be 100% sure socket it on a high lvl char maybe

no no no, you are NOT insured, thats a fact. Ive done it many times with different characters and i did not get max sockets.

but, to help, in order to be sure that you will, one make sure you do the quests in order, do normal socket quest, then nm, THEN hell. Two, like ice said be a high lvl character it should help. And finally make sure you complete the quest with a high lvl character, dont be weak like lvl 10, b/c you were being rushed then expect to go back and still get 6 sockets. Dont worry though, just do it right and there should be no problem

i did find an eth cryptic axe and using a lvl 10 i socketed it and gained 5 sockets
at the moment i was pissed thinking 6 sockets is the max on an eth cryptic axe, but then i checked and the max is 5.

so clvl shouldnt matter and lazruk always gives max, but if your unsure ask yourself where it spawned, my eth cryptic axe spawned off a hell minion of destruction so it was going to be max sockets anyway.

how can lazruk give you always max sockets? you mean in hell right, cause he doesnt in normal. or nm. And what about hell cows? if you spawn an item in hell cows, does it auto get max sockets?

i did mine in normal shenk but anyway cows are different then lazruk
