i got keylogged and someone got on this account.. and said **** you guys all and i got negative 8 reps for that and such is it a file on comp? how can they do it i have diff passwords for VERYTHING and im wondering how can i get rid of it... how do i use anti blocker or something.

This is what I want you to do to get rid of the keylogger.

Download HiJackThis and extract it from the ZIP. Open the HiJackThis.exe and choose to Do a system scan and save a logfile. You should get a log pop up in notepad. Reply here with it or send me a pm and I can help you get rid of the viruses.

DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING IT FINDS. IT LISTS BOTH BAD AND GOOD THINGS, AND YOU NEED SOMEONE THAT CAN READ THE LOG FILES LIKE ME TO LOOK OVER IT

Amen Bloodangel. Dont download stuff from ppl that you dont know. Especially if you see someone with the name in all those special letters. Did you search a crack or anything. Because most of them are infested with viruses. Thats probaly why you got the key logger in the first place

All of you quit backseat modding, we will warn/clean up all his crap when its done. I'm going to check the list of IP addresses that have used his account, that will tell me if its a current user who keylogged him.

I use Spyware doctor's 'ON GUARD' and PC-Cillin to keep keyloggers out, and I've downloaded plenty of stuff that they both detected keyloggers in, and I've used 6+ different spyware / keylogger 'detectors' and I've never gotten on since.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Close HijackThis.

Run Killbox:

• Please double-click Killbox.exe to run it.

• Please copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):

If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run Killbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try Killbox again.

Reboot into Normal Mode.

Probably went to google, typed in "DIABLO 2 FREE DUPE DOWNLOAD HERE", ignored his firewall and got keylogged in some way. How typical. Also, if you have not tried yet, try Lavasoft's Ad-Aware. It's freeware and very useful.
