KaZaa and its problems...

KaZaa... the godly program of downloading, yet I find it the biggest pain in my *** ever. All you people out there who use it know what I'm talking about. I just spent around 4-5 hours downloading what I thought was The Matrix: Reloaded... so guess what movie i got? Scarface! :eek: (Un-Cut version) So I'm watching that now, but for all you peeps out there, post what you tried to download and what it actually came out to be!

porn's a lot easier to download though. my only beefs with kazaa are the extremely slow download times (yay for livin in the boonies, 2k a min my ***) and the fact that people have weird names on their files so you try to download maroon 5 and get the beach boys (shudder). btw, brianna loves jenna=awesome. try a search for kobe tai. now that is high quality shiten.

lets see, i tried dl'ing Grand Theft Auto 3 once, i believe i ended up getting motocross madness or something like that. usually i did a good job of getting movie files since i looked through the descriptions and found ones that had full information on them, and had pretty good ratings. so my experience with kazaa wasnt that bad, except for the occasional files that were actually porn and such. also, my sister had put on hundreds of music files and such, so the computer was really slow, and eventually we bagged it when we got another computer, and now i dont use any file sharing programs, just too much risk in it. and by the way skye, nice sig with the rubber ducky

I tried to dl Hannibal like a year or two ago...it ended up being some old 70's porn with this girl who likes kinda like Nicole Kidman...
Halo ended up being Car Tycoon...

Another point about Kazaa...(although really it's the jackass and dumbass users causing these problems) they like to put the wrong names of songs...I looked up Slipknot - wait and bleed when I first got Kazaa...you know what I found? Slipknot - wait and breeth...slight difference in interpretation I think...

oh ya remember another experience. it kinda connects to my previous GTA3 story i believe. so i was opening the file, and i saw that it was not the file that it said it was. this was back before the big 'file sharing illegal crazy lawyers get on your ***' phase, and i saw someone else who was downloading that same GTA3 file. i think he was about 95% done his dl, and then i cancelled his download becasue i didnt want him getting some freaky file (i prob shouldve jsut let him have it), and he messaged me and flipping out at me with curses and the such. i had to squelch him and just back away from that one.

I did that once i was in the process of going to rename a song when some guy attmpted to dl a song from me i cancelled,he resumed, i messaged, he flamed, so i unshared the file cancelled and renamed


another bloke gave me heck because i was dling 2 separate kamelot songs from him (import band to North america :mad: ) he said i was dling to many songs and kept cancelling my dls

I have never once gotten a person to respond to me on Kazaa, and Im always nice to them. The only problem I've ever had with kazaa is the HORRIBLE quality on songs (and the usual asshat who names the song to the chorus, or something to that effect)
