the da vinci code thread got me thinking about the freemasons. there's a lot of consiparcy theory stuff involed and there's just a lot of information out there in general about this type of thing. i want to know if any of you have read about the ancient egyptians and the history of freemasonry. stanley p. hall, a 33 degree (or 32nd or whatever is highest) freemason puts the creation of the pyramids around the time from of 50,000 bc. i'm sure you guys are aware that the general consensus is way closer.
freemasonry is still portrayed in US currency and architecture, there's a lot of esoteric knowledge surrounding the pyramids and the freemason supposedly have some kind of knowledge about this.
like i said there's tons of conspiracy theory stuff related to this about atlantis and aliens and all kinds of stuff. i want to know if any of you guys have at least semi factual info about this kinda thing.

I always thought this stuff was just a little bit whacky and crazy. I know the freemasons exist and whatnot, but it's not like theyre running the world. It would be impossible for the freemasons to assemble a NWO, theres just no organization that organized. Nothing to fear when it comes to them.
EDIT: Although I read somewhere a while back that they found human bones under Benjamin Franklins house in London where he was an ambassador or something of the sort. That seemed really weird.

well i wasn't going to get into the nwo and illuminati, that's what i was consideringthe conspiracy theory, that and the atlantis bs. anyhow, the egyptian stuff isn't all nonsense. at least according to roman texts. there was a greek sage solon that said the pyramids themselves shouldn't be considered teh wonder of the world and that the catacombs underneath the giza site should be the actual wonder. and the egyptian priests said things to him about the age and history of mankind and such and such. anyway, interestign stuff

i have to admit that i dont know anything about the freemasons besides what i saw on the simpsons and the history channel. apparently they are a secret organization that runs every aspect of the world and are obsessed with a symbolic shape made by a 90 degree angle and an acute triangle?

hehe, well whoever owns the banks owns the world, them and the catholic church. i dont' know what the freemasons know, and i don't 99% of the freemasons have any "secret" knowledge. but freemasonry has a very long and impressive lineage, they're certain to have access to important esoteric stuff.
i've heard that about the american presidents too, get this. i've heard this as well but i odn't know if it's true or not. that 95% of american presidents are direct bloodline decendents from charlamagne, and frmo there can be traced back to cleopatra. you can guess which ones aren't...ie assassinated
of course i'm not saying this is true i have no idea.
