Meteor Myth?

I've been playing for a while now, and from time to time I hear people get asked not to use meteor becuase of a -10% Exp penalty. Then again I hear people vehemently deny there being any pentaly at all. Arreat's says nothing about it in the skill description, so I'm leaning towards it being a stupid rumor. Has anyone else tested this? (Seriously, I don't want to keep feeding the rumormill, has someone actually went out and tested if it works.)

I have seen a lot more stupid people say things a lot more stupid then that.

Ruth is right, it was a very old bug but was patched ages ago. Tell them to stop being so noob and read Arreats when they bitch in game
