Return of ECW

ECW One Night stand, sunday night, was insane, im more content now that they are bringing back the old ECW from now on, the Sci Fi channel, every tuesday at 10pm. Sabu, Dreamer, Funk, Sandman, Balls Mahoney, FBI, etc, this new ecw, is gona be amazingly sick, anyone gona watch? anyone see ECW 1NS?

I enjoyed ecw back in the days and I am glad its coming back, but sad thing is owned by vince. So it's not going to be all that great, anymore.. But I'll still watch it.. Also if you watch TNA, I'm wondering how many times Sting's going to come back..lol OH MY GOD STING IS BACK..!! lol they always say..lol

yay, welcome back ECW (Extremely Crappy Wrestling). You all know now that it is owned by WWE it has to follow some rules and the stuff you saw way back then wont ever happen again becuase of certain rules that just down allow them. For example piledrivers etc.... And its going to be just as fake as WWE, so in other words your getting the same thing from Raw and Smackdown just with older and crappier wrestlers.

Hmmm, still gotta respect the hardcore matches that'll follow up in some shows, just finished watching it for tonight, like i had expected, i enjoyed the hour it was on, hopefully maybe since its branched off from WWE , itll come on for 2 hours =D, but yeah, was anyone here surprised when kurt angle was chosen? i mean, i wasnt , but i had a strong feeling that Chris Benoit woulda been chosen, he was really good way back when, but whatever, i like the new roster's , still love the old one's , Vengeance could possibly be good since ECW will be there =], cant wait, sick night

never did like ecw, wasnt flashy enough for me, but who knows maybe now that it's owned by WWE i mite start watching it, also isnt it stephanie that owns ecw not vince?

i haven't watched wrestling since right before ECW folded. but this show made me angry first of all john cena was there. which is ALWAYS a bad thing. second like said above they can't even piledrive people, because some lameass wrestler (who can't even wrestle) stone cold got his neck hurt. which means we won't even see jerry lynn's cradle piledriver anymore.

i must admit though, even though i didn't watch one night stand sunday. it was nice to see a sign say "if cena wins we riot" now that's awesomeness right there.

third, all the talent is already picked over. they're either with WWF (or whatever they called now) or TNA (or whatever it's called). which means we'll be stuck seeing steve corino & justin credible or anyone else that other orgs realized are boring and bring nothing to the table.

i'm pissed that ECW has a show now. because i may have to start watching wrestling agian. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! confused:

also... they had little kids there mad: screw that!!! the whole point in watching ECW back in the day was that A) you'd get to see some over-the-top violence B) seeing lots and lots of drunk fans and C) getting to see some ass.

when you start letting little 8 year olds in the arena it ruins the entire thing that ECW was. wrestling that older people could watch without feeling like a 14 year jack ass who watches wreslting. and being drunk and seeing that guy from faith-no-more out in the audience.

its not just because stone cold got his neck hurt, its also because one wrestler (forget his name) died from a pile driver....also if uve ever seen the REAL pedigree its just a modified piledriver, but wwe made HHH modify it ever since piledrivers were considered dangerous.

ecw is still good it has many top people and they are still sending more to ecw it may not be allowed somethings but it still has the harcore things it always had i admit its not as crazy as it usta be but look at one night stand it was crazy so im sure pay per view will be good as it usta be its just sci fi doesnt allow certian things so they gotta abide by the rules just be glad its back

Only messing I like ECW altho not as much as before.. Like pointed out Sci-Fi has limits and I see alot of WWE in it.. The only thing that I like is that you can choke people out..... Which is NICE!!! But other than that... You can tell it's owned by WWE lol..

i completely agree with 1) ECW is not fully ECW without the ECW fans, last night, it was basically just raw/smackdown/little kids at the show. 2) ECW would only most liely be better, (more violence) when it does house shows, without being televised, and 3) u can deffeiniatly tell that it is owned by WWE, i mean, WTF was that zombie, and the firework display too, all wwe, its most likely gona be watched, but the classic ECW will probably never be * sigh.


And plus, it made me think last night, how could Paul have let WWE do that to a show, that he worked so hard for, and started nearly a revolution and structured basis for what wrestling is today, most of the wwe superstars, have even said, that they grew up watching ECW in its entirerity, (if i spelt that right)....if you guys have been watchin Raw the past few weeks, and how foley's been named as a "sellout", its pretty much all of ECW being sold out, let alone Paul Heyman giving away the great name of ECW to a bunch of stuntplaying, move-modifying, company rules, and a bunch of fans who wrent EVEN BORN when ECW originally came out. actally paul fought hard to do things his way but in the end vince had the last say paul said hisself that the debut was a complete disaster and so did alot of the ecw wrestlers i dont see it last long with it going this way i still will watch it though

ecw is awesome, scaffling matches and stuff, oh that PPV was amazing, WCW sucks!!! its a lower class wwe, ecw is a whole new type of wrestling.

ECW isnt even gona be on for long....they only have an 8 or 9 week contract left with sci fi i belive, and then after that , WWE might have them put onto USA if they can clear a spot in the schedule, but lets just hope for the best with paul

my friend who's a pretty big wrestling nerd. said that there's a rumor that the ECW show is going to take over the smackdown show.

i don't know if it's true at all, but it would make sense as to why there's some wrestlers from wwf switching over to ecw and why the contract would be so short.

No matter where ecw goes bottom line is.. Owner Vince/family, Ecw nerver will be the same (miss tho's days) And I don't how anyone could say that Ecw will be better then it was before.. Shit I remember when Ecw was Cw.. I forget the other name but when they put both names together that's how they made Ecw.. God that was years ago.. I think it was Cw and Ec, they were on like 2-3am on like channel 5000 lol.. (5000 Was joke).. So I am glad Ecw is back but as far them being the same.(no way)

Geves, i heard the same thing from my freind, his father works for WWE tho, he said that Smackdown might get put off for a while, and ECW wil be put into their lineup on UPN or MY9? whatever its called over here....(NY)....but, thats only if it shows progress, because like Chris said, its not gona be the Old ECW days....since it is owned by Vince, its gona have to follow rules, no such thing as no rules in ECW now, a factor that could lose interest in most people, and btw, if anyone had thought? the ECW that previewed on tuesday on sci fi...that was taped i think, my freind who knows alot with this, said that that whole crowd was a smackdown crowd, it had to have been taped, i mean...u all saw what happened on ECW 1NS? the chants...etc...Its not gonna be live, and its gona lose interest in the real ECW fans. Maybe dead things, should stay dead .
