Help with online editing

I need the 411 on a Character Editor that allows you to edit your online character.I'm in US West with 1 character for Battle.net. If someone could e-mail with detailed information that would be very appreciated.My e-mail is listed in my profile please help me out.I have 1 chartacter editor but I'm unable to edit my online character.Please help a fellow gamer out.Thanx.

If you're wanting to edit a Closed Battle.Net character file, then sorry, but I don't know of a program for doing that (and it is illegal by the way).

If you need to edit an Open Battle.Net character file, then there are several editors that can be used to do this, such as Hero Editor, UdieToo, and Horadric (for Macs).

I own a Hero Editor with a Canadian Maple Leaf icon next to it.Um,I don't know what an Open or Closed Battle.net character file is.Please explain in a way I'd understand.

lol, you have zonfire's editor, (the guy above your post made it) and it's an open editor. To edit files on blizzards servers IS illegal and reletively impossible. Doing that wouldn't get you far anyhow cause they keep track of what is going on. So in short, you are not going to edit anything on closed realm. try a bot and finding stuff and leveling up that way. Duping is not worth it cause stuff get's deleted quick and maphacks get you banned. Good luck pressing your luck.

When you start D2 and click on the "Battle.Net" button, you will be playing Closed (so no editors).

When you start D2 and click on the "Other Multiplayer" button, you will be playing Open or TCP/IP (so you CAN use editors).
