SilkRoad - is it toooo laggy?

I saw some screenshots of SilkRoad and it looks good but I heard some people from other servers complain that its too laggy to play. How laggy is it? Does it affect the game much?

Mostly it depends on when you go on. At times it will be just fine, but at other times so many people will be on at the same time, you will often have lag. I used to play a lot earlier on, but I'm kinda taking a break from the game until I can get access to the internet more often (I'm a college student on summer break) so I've only played once this summer and it had lag every now and then. Since it's a free game, it draws in many people, and with time zones there will be times that say while the US is sleeping, the Asian population may be awake and playing Silkroad. I can't tell ya the exact times when it may be less laggy, but maybe you can try going on at different times in a day for a couple of days and seeing for yourself when the best time to go on would be. It really is a good game, but some people are drawn away from the lag so I would say follow my advice and hopefully you can find a good time when to be on; gl =)
