HOT IP Help?

I have never used a DClone hunter only because I'm not sure how the whole Hot IP thing works. When I've found one, what do I do?

When someone creates a Diablo II game, it is given an IP out of a list. You can find the IP of the game you are in by going to Start > Run and typing cmd and hitting enter. Then type netstat -n and search for anything that looks like

63.240.202.**:4000 ESTABLISHED

If you go to a mIRC chat or a website that lists the IP, they will usually give you only the stars, the rest of it never changes. It should be the only connection using port 4000 (63.240.202.78:4000) when you use the netstat, but if you want, using this command should only display the one you want.

For lazy people, only displays the one on port 4000, which should be your Diablo II Ip


Bots like KissCloneHunter will automatically find the IP for you, and create a new game after a certain time. Instead of manually checking the IP and time yourself, KissClone is faster and safer to avoid temp bans. The only problem is, you need to know what IP is close to walking. I don't do much botting, but I used to know an IRC channel that did this, if I can dig up the server I will get back to you alright?

Ok, I understand and follow your directions except for ONE part... what do you mean by

need to know what IP is close to walking.

Also, once you are in a game that matches the Hot IP, what happens? Do you just wait and wait for 'Diablo Walks the Earth?'

hot ip just means if u sell a soj to a merchant, or if someone else does, then its more likely that uber diablo (who drops anni) will "Walk the earth" in your game, or will just appear in your game.
