Finally came time for me to enlist. So talked to my recruiter, and ended up going for Track Vehicle Repair. (for you dummieslaugh: in that job you repair tanks and so on, any military vehicle that has tracks, not tires, but will be workin with wheeled vehicles also) and i got a 10k enlistment bonus along with a priority bonus, so ill be getting some $$. (no thats not the main reason i enlisted.) I leave for basic Aug. 1st, and will arive aug. 11 i think. Training will be at Fort Jackson, SC and AIT will be somewhere in Maryland.

Good luck in the military. Enlisting is respectable as hell, I certainly don't think I could.

I have respect for anyone willing to put their life on the line to protect the freedoms of others. Good luck to you.
Also, Fort Jackson sucks, my step brother just got back from being an MP on base there and it's apparantly really boring.

btw, dont bother asking for my stuff, but once i enlist, i will be done with diablo, but im giving all my shit (more that 70 hrs worth) to a good friend. he already has my passwords. and i told him to have fun with it :p
