Eth Exile or Up Hoz

aah, i have never goten a final answer for these questions on 3 different forums. lol can somebody please answer this.

If for smite go for the eth exile if it is for hammerdin go for hoz.

oh yeah..smiter but ive seen people post....uped hoz BEST SMITER SHIELD!!!!! and other people are like..YEAH BEST SMITER SHIELD ..nd im like =/

Well...i hear alot of people say that....an ethereal +res Zakarum sheild exile gg pwns for smiters, but for hammerdin, always go with upped HoZ.

an upped hoz has a lot of smite dmg but if you wan't to be safe with life tap and more defense go with exile

people say upped hoz is better because zakarum deals more damage. if u want a good overall smiter, go with e v exile or e zak exile( either shiled must have resist)

actually the zak sheild doesnt deal higher damage, on average the vortex shield with smite dmg of 5-87 will deal higher damage than a zak sheild that does 46-46 dmg.

so to answer the question for a smiter go with an e v exile if its a good one with resists. it will boost ur defence dramatically and give u much better life tap than dracs. that way u can use better gloves like some crafted ones that add CB.

ehh idk--i use upd hoz on my smiter (purely for ubering) and hes fine. *sometimes* it takes a min for life tap to come on with dracs but all you have to do is use a healht pot lol its not htat hard....anyway someone said that hoz does 46-46 smite dmg so exile is better---WE'RE TALKING ABOUT **UPD** HOZ--- its does more dmg if you um it.....it gives a ton of resists.....so trust me if you want to uber hoz works.....iv never tried exile*....but hoz works fantasticaly for mechinese:

lol sorry but all elite pally shields average out to do 46 smite damage (except the sacred rondache which averages 46.5)... ALL OF THEM, the kurast will be a constant, even damage, but the vortex has potential to do higher damage (and yes, lower damage as well).

so even throwing that out the window and saying it doesnt matter, exile would still be the better choice. you have better defense on the shield, lifetap, and defiance aura boosting your defense overall. what else do u want?

if ur talkin ladder then yes, but non ladder you have to buy the hoz already up'd and it is way more expensive then a good e v exile.

either way you will do well.....but.......GO WITH EXILE, CASE CLOSED
