Zealer Question

Can a zealer solo ubers? I've heard to make a smiter and I might i just like to make zealers

Gear
Helm- Vamp Gaze
Ammy- Metalgrid (29 res)
Rings- Nats Peace and 20 absorb wisp
Shld- Cham'ed HOZ
Armor- 27 res Dusk Fort
Gloves- Dracs
Belt- Dungos (13 dr)
Boots- None (looking for goreriders)
Wep- Getting a EBOTD Zerker

My stats were going to be enough str and then dex until 75% block (thinking about level 90 for him) and I currently have NO torch or anni. I'm going to get one before I start the build though. I was wondering how to put skills if they can. i was thinking

Max Zeal
Max Fant
Max Holy Shld
Rest for defiance

Then i started wondering about salvation. How should i put them?

with that gear u can't do it. you should have some gear giving % to cast life tap and some gear with % crushing blow. get an exile and use a runeword armor called treachery and go out and let monsters hit you until ur faded.

smiter is the cheapest uber solo'er and for a zealer to solo it, they gotta have pretty expensive gear to do so

Don't use a hoz, there is that unique pally shield that gives ar, use that one.

Use ravens cos you get more ar and block from them. You shouldn't need a wisp in pvm, use tg if you really need because ravens are more important than dungo.

you should get a 45 res Pheniox so nice mana regen and life.. and dont use ebotz use a grief or a last wish i geuss

this is more of a nonladder build...

i still think smiters r cheaper, better, and more consistent cuz smites cant be blocked

well....my zealer kills ubers...but he uses smite to do it haha. i have pretty good gear and zeal is fairly ineffective versus them. heres my gear

helm- GUIL+40/15 ias jewel (adds CB)
ammy- highlords/angelics (depends)
weap- edeathz (pawns for zeal, only other weap id suggest is grief z)
shield- e v exile +45 res
belt- dungos
boots- gores
glove- primary loh/ secondary gouts (dont need dracs lifetap with exile on. gouts for ias)
rings- ravenfrost/bk or angelics
armor- arch COH

i use a few ias items because without edeathz having ias such as ebotdz, i need 60%ias to benchmark (max) my attack speed. with ebotdz u dont need quite as much ias with your other items but death is quite a bit better otherwise...not to mention deaths uber CB.

so even with this gear zeal is fairly ineffective compared to my low lvl smite. i can do it with zeal...but it takes a long while, lol. i can smite all 3 out in a matter of 5 minutes.

IMO zeal ownz....just not uberz. stick with smite

fun to play with, have yet to test him 4 ubrs.

but thats what i use, its effective, if your really good with hand eye and yoru mouse get a nig with phen not exile, and duel... tele zeal is a fun thing to do if you can get them in a blind spot. although tele with any skill is funny when you pop up next to them and one shot em in the face...

its not that much more expensive and it will help you get 50 bp

I'm in the process of making a zeal/smiter, zeal for pvm perposes and smite purely for the ubers. Any suggestion on where i should put my skill points?
I'm thinking 20 smite, 20 holy shield, 20 fanat, 20 zeal, then after all that is done start pumping into sacrifice.
