Australian Football League (AFL) < no its nothing like soccer etc.
Rugby is only big in the nothern states...
Cricket
Soccer
v8 Supercars if you want to call that a sport.
Tennis
List goes on...

Baseball is in no way popular here lol... Gets no tv coverage... there are small leagues around the place but nothing majour.

yeah i'll agree with Nub...no country is complete without good old fashioned baseball...and i mean w/o baseball...how would teenagers ever determine how far their buddy got with a chick..or if they had to go home and shed those blue balls with the sac bunt...heh heh

true, but every sport the us plays nationally dominates. makes the olympics unfair (ex. basketball, baseball, sometimes football)

Heh, they chose the place where it all began: Athens. And I hear speculation that in 2012 they will host the Olmpic Games in NYC. Just a 45 minute drive for me
