Old version of diablo 2-new version of dloader

i have d2 v 1.0 and i downloaded the newst d2loader. i did everything right for once but now it says something like "this loader does not reconize your version of diablo. Please visit ____ to download a newer update" i am usuing diablo 2 on an old computer because my cd thing is broken. it scratches disks real bad so i dont have an internet connection for that computer. is there a way to fix this problem maybe by a old no cd patch?

so ur running diablo version 1.10? if u are u need to get a 1.10 d2loader not the newist that y ur getting this

i have the very first diablo 2 that came out. version 1.0 not 1.10. would that still make a difference if i got d2loader 1.10?

alright man i had the same probelm all u have to do is download the 11.1b update and run it then place the d2loader in ur diablo 2 directory and rename your d2loader to diablo II.

i have d2loader 1.1b but it doesnt work. it said that "d2loader doesnt reconize your version of diablo2" im lost there. I was thinking that i need the d2loader of my version of diablo. version 1.0 woould possibly work for my version of diablo.

Did you update your Diablo II on battlenet before you tried using D2Loader?

well i dont have internet connection for that computer so i cant get on bnet to do updates. my computer with the internet connection has a broken cd player thing so i have to use an old computer.

ok well let me tell u there is no version 1.0 there is a version 1.08 expansion and up and there is not d2loader for 1.08 ur going to have to download a 1.11 updated from here and then put it on ur other computer.
