first off im sick of hearing about people whining they got ban...u got ban, u cheated SUCK IT UP NOOB. ok now that thats out of the way i have a few beliefs as to why they did what they did. basically blizzard is losing money on diablo because it requires massive bandwidth, but supplys no revenue. by mass banning they either a) reduce the bandwidth needed by reducing players. or b) they dont reduce the lag because everyone goes out and buys a cd key or 2 that was cheating, resulting in profit to keep d2 open. lastly, the reason the bans are done at once and in mass is to give you all a false sense of security, making you believe the hacks are safe, then easily banning 30k+ keys. 30k x 10 bucks a key...thats 300 THOUSAND dollars they make if everyone rebuys a key....probobly not that many will, but you see what im saying. no furhter questios...and PLEASE STFU IF U GOT BANNED, CUZ IM HAPPY.
