i play single player and i have a char with all the runes under write protection (u go into the save folder of diablo and right click on the .d2s file of the char u wanna to write protect and select "properties" or whatever it is called in english, and select "write protected" - the effect is obvious: your char will get rolled back every time you leave a game) now back to the problem: i have this mule with the runes and every time i wanna socket some itam with one of the 1.10 runewords i open a tcp/ip game with some other mule char, then start another d2window with the d2loader and join the game with the char, that has found the itam i wanna socket. i drop this itam and leave, then join with the mule that has got all the runes, and here it comes - every time i wanted to socket an itam with a rune word that has a "x aura when equiped" feature, my game crashed. how can i prevent it? i hadn't even used maphack, only the d2loader.
