problem with runewords

I have a problem with aura runewords, for example, bramble. When I try to make this runeword, the game crashes as I put the last rune into the socket. Can someone help me to fix this problem?

hmmm, with the info given, I cannot explain that. If you have installed a mod or have ever messed around with that, it would be a sure sign. With a mod you can design you own rune words and you can remove them as well. Any poorly made mod has a ton of instability and it may require a re-install to fix this. If you haven't had a mod, a reinstall still is your best bet. I would try different items and things as well. Hero editors can mess items up pretty bad.

Do you use mh? If you do, exit d2 and reopen it without mh installed. Mh usually doesnt let me socket items with it running. Just a thought.
