Gmail and MSN

Well i jsut got invited to gmail, i set up my account and all and it works fine, but when i go to sign into msn(i have windows live messenger) it tells me that the account doesnt exist or the password is incorrect, i know my password is right, it says the same thing at webmessenger.msn.com to, does anyone know whats going on?

I think you answered your own question.

You're using MSN.

You need to register your new gmail email to your MSN, "Create a NET passport" or something like that.

uh ok, and how do i do that lol

When you open up the screen with "Sign in" on it, go to the bottom and there is a little link that says "Get a new account". Follow the instructions therein.

Click Sign Up. Many applications, including MSN Messenger, Zone Games, Hotmail (seperate account but still uses the NET Passport service) use this service.
