Hello i recently made a pally and want to get him to up where he can easily tank Ubers at lvl 80.
I really want him to do major ammounts of damage and be able to take it, with ease. Maximum life/defense/blocking, basically unstoppable. Im not into the whole FOH or smiting..I like hitting multiple enemies real quick (zeal). So i guess it'll be a Zeal pally. I would also like him to do good in PvP.
Im asking what gear should i get him (tell me the best, no limit on price) everything, helms, armors, weapons, shields. etc etc. only but the best
Also the the stats i should put on him for perfection without 1 little glitch.
In my mind im thinking i should max Zeal/Holy Shield/Charge/(An Aura or 2). But i have no idea what aura i should get.
I need help badly.

Don't bother with Zeal, it's a major pain in the ass, since you'll want to be hitting the Ubers themselves, not their minions. Go with Smite, it will take you a third of the time that it would with a zealer.
Also, Zeal is absolutely useless in PvP, whilst Smite is pretty good.

What about a Zeal/Smite pally? how would that work out? I really like doing baal and diablo runs by myself so multiple targets at once would be nice. Also can u help with any other info i need, thanks.

You could try maxing Zeal, Smite, Fana, Holy Shield and rest into Sacrifice, I think? Just use Smite for bosses and Zeal as your main attack.
Good weapons for a Zealer: eBOTDz, eDC
Good weapons for a Smiter: Griefz
Helm: Try CoA or Guillaume's
Armor: Forti for damage, Eni if you like solo play
Shield: Zaka
Amu: Angelic/Highlord
Belt: Verdungo
Ring1: Angelic
Ring2: Raven/Angelic
Boots: Goreriders
Gloves: Dracul's, Laying of Hands

This is for PvM, I don't think that you can make a decent Zeal/Smite hybrid for PvP, especially with only 1 point in Charge and nothing in Defiance.
In theory, use Zeal with Angelic amu + ring + Laying of Hands for general PvM. For Ubers, use Draculs + Highlord + 2xWisp, or Wisp/Raven.
This is just a general guideline, I am damn tired and going to sleep now, so I cannot really think clearly.

there is no character that can easily tank ubers. they are called uber for a reason. the only chars that can do it are chars with lifetap. as for your aura, fanat is the only way to go. you will also need salvation to counter meph's conviction
EDIT: frater i thought angelic combo was only for pvp? i didnt think you needed that extra AR boost for just pvm

My friend is lvl 81 pally who does Ubers easily, and PvPs quite well, he said this is good..
"20 smite, 10 charge, 20 holy shield, 20 fanticism, 1 vigor"
he has 1.5k life with 17k defense (no bo)
his stats with gear are "182 str, 177 dex, 303 vita, 20 energy"
he uses grief as a weapon
i think im gonna copy him..sounds good, anyone know any better weapons than grief or is that good?
and how do you think about his build?

That's your typical Smiter. It was you who was so keen on Zeal, which also has another synergy, so that's why the build became underpowered.

you should test your guy out on hero editor to get it perfect(theres an ubers mod called PlugY, it would be good for testing but its only the bosses and no minions nor can they summon any)

Look around in the character development section, there are about 20 Smiter guides, especially for Ubers. For PvP, you might have to do some tweaking though.

i prefer lastwish over greif but many people here will say use greif. as for maras/highlords, if you have enough res after meph gets his convistion aura on you, then use highlords. if not, use maras.
also, use pbs(phaseblades) not zerks. smite lowers duribility quickly so pbs are better because they are in destructible. and its smite, what difference would it make besides that anyways? i say get last wish if you can(more cb among other reasons)

Go for Grief BA. PB is shit because it has bad range, range is far more important on a Smiter, especially if you are going to do any PvP. LW would be a choice for a PvMer because of Life Tap, but if you want damage, go for Grief BA.
Stick to Highlord because you will need 20% off weapon IAS%, also your Grief BA must have at least 32%IAS.
You could get a BerBer CoA, but keep in mind that you already have 23%DR (8% from CoH and 15% from Verdungo's), so you could only use 1 Ber (provided that your CoA has perf DR%) and just use something else in the other socket, such as a -15%req/+15 allresi jewel.
BK is pointless for a Smiter. Use Raven as one ring, for the other one, get a ring with huge stats, i.e. +20 STR +15 DEX +30 allresi, it helps a lot to get some of the heavier gear on (CoA, also you can up your Gores then) and goes a long way towards achieving max block, also the stacked resists are nice in PvM.

i think i might need to use maras perf my res are like 40 in hell, but i have no p torch (found n-torch in ubers yesterday, msg me if u need 19/16) or anni, also i think i should get some res/life sc's

smite damage with grief is actually higher than smite damage with last wish. i tested it. also i prefer pbs cause they attack faster than zerks...and the indestructible saves a lot of gold and whatever rune repairs weaps...ort i think
