Im starting Mods?

What should i use for making mods, and making them undetectable

I would like a free program

Without any experience, you won't be making very good mods, let alone UNDETECTABLE mods.

theres like no such thing as in undetectable mod, hell some hacks these days arnt even undetectable like mousies i believe, i used the foh sure safe thing on stings.

There is a big difference between cheats/hacks and mods. Cheats/hacks give the player an unfair advantage of the game over one who doesn't use cheats/hacks, while mods only modify components of the game that will not have an effect on giving that player an unfair advantage over others. For the most part mods are MEANT to be played on Single Player or with other friends who use the same mod on TC/IP and such, but there are those 2 mods (I don't use 'em, so I don't know much about 'em) that I think are usable on closed B.net - RGX and Nightlight. RGX focuses on things like changing some colors to make it easier on the eye, and Nightlight focuses on reducing the amount of animation in an attempt to create less lag. These kinds of things will not give the player an unfair advantage over another. IMO it's basically like an extra options menu for things to do (that would go along with things that can normally be changed, such as screen res, mini-map options, etc), and all of the previous in a way could be seen as a modification.

I, however, only play my mods on Single Player, and I play the mods that provide many further changes to the gameplay and such. None of these should be seen as cheating (as long as gameplay-changing mods are not played on Closed B.net), because many mods, such as Median 2007, provide further challenge to the game and aim not to make the game an easier way to get "uber", but aim to make the player play the game in a new and interesting way.

Welthas, it would be better to just stick with mods that change gameplay and plan on only using them on Single Player or with friends on Open or TC/IP. An attempt to make a mod to change gameplay for an unfair advantage and desire for it to be played on Closed will not work, as it will be detectable and caught by our Battle.net/Blizzy friends. If you would like to try and make a mod, your best place to visit would be The Phrozen Keep: http://phrozenkeep.it-point.com/index.php. The top experts in mod-making are all there and there are forums there and such if you need more help.

Ahhh I see,I don,t play video games with the exception of FFXI online.Other than that my knowledge of them is limited*at best* and my expertise is zero!

Your expertise is almost as good as mine. My mom plays diablo also and hears me doing stuff that i do to other games, and thinks im a hacking god. When in reality i use udie tool or this one program for diablo, or mods/hacks/cheats for other programs that come with instructions and tell her what i can do. If she found it out, she'd be heart-broken.

LOL cool!I play with my son,and he knows all kinds of stuff I have no clue about!I think he is king of all FF players. I have never used a Mod and would not know how even.When I say *play* read*watch*
