Tonsils coming out

There coming out friday and have to go vacation a week from them. Will it hurt? I get mixed reviews on that question. Anyway post some stuff about if you have gone threw getting them out or any helpful infomation would be very much appreciated.

Been a while, but other than a sore throat feeling and lots of freeze pops and Jello, I don't remember much.
Maybe you will get lucky and the ladder will reset Friday so you get a full week to level up! Good luck and get well soon.

damn, i love those things. one winter, everyone in my house basicly took cycles and we'd get sick, make someone else sick then get better then get sicks again. and my doctor was suck a retard and said they should take my tounsils out. then we went t another doctor and he basicly said that was bs and they were fine. only been to the hospital once(for me) and that was for a catscan because me head was gushing blood lol.

Get lots of pain killers... Those rule. Even if you're not in pain, lie and get them.

I would have no pain right now but they ****ing iratted my uvala the thing that hangs from your throat. It is now 3 times bigger and hits everything. If I dont take a sip of something every 30 seconds it drys up and I cant speak.

The swelling will gradually decrease and you should feel fine in no time at all. Keep your fluid intake up and drink as much icey cold things as you can tolerate.

Thanks pamela I have to drink a ton every second for 2 days and then there will be no more swelling.

how long were you out during the operation? i've never had any surgery and i was supposed to get my tonsils taken out but they cancelled?

The operation is 45-1hour but you have no idea it was like a whole 1 minute for me. I went to sleep and woke up.

i had surgery once, they put me to sleep, and I woke up. The chick was seemingly irritated so she was like.. STAY AWAKE, GET UP, DON'T GO TO SLEEP!
(that's when I was waking up). but still, we paid a bunch of money and they can't give me 2 hours of good sleep? pshhhh. (I'm just complaining). I was supposed to get my tonsils out but it never happenned, the wisdom teeth hurt more then tonsils do prolly, even though I was on Vikadin (Sp?) it was like burning my mouth, and it was dryed out, and I couldn't drink, or close my mouth before there were big cotton balls in it holding it open. And I never even got braces because of it... stupid parents give me pain then don't fix my face. |
