Warning about STINGS MH!!

I am a new poster to these forums but I have been using Stings MH for about 2 months now and all of a sudden today while I was in a Baal run I got booted off of battlenet and it said that I have been "Temporarily Restricted from this Realm" the only thing I have and was using at the time was Stings MH. I don't know if Warden has found a way to detect it but I thought that I should let everyone know about what happened to me.

Yea man, we all know that stings has been causing bannings lately. But it has always been detectable. Everyone disagrees with me when I tell them that stings is detectable and even with the plugin, but they say no its undetectable, but when they get banned dont go crying to me -.-

Dude - no worries That message just means that you have a "temp ban". Essentially you were probably joining/creating games too fast - so take a break and play some basketball The "temp ban" will be over after a short period of time.

If you keep trying to log in though while you do have the temp ban, it will increase the length of time of the temp ban - best bet is to wait a half hour next time it happens and try again (I've had them last 48 hours before).

Completely correct. This is not the message you would get if you were banned. It is what happens when you create or join too many games in an hour, with or without hacks.

The no plugin has never caused a ban that I know of yet, and I highly doubt that it ever will. At some day a big patch to the mapping system may cause D2\Stings to crash, but I never see bannings happening in the future.

The problem with people and getting banned is that often times they are using more than one hack (or maybe someone else in the house or with acct info even) so while they may think they were banned for program "A", it in reality could be an entirely different program "B".

Also, when someone says they were banned for using a program in a specific manner, we all make the assumption that they aren't retarded and in fact did what they said - this however is a mistake because often times people don't understand how to use a program in the first place (they may just think they do) and are stubborn so they refuse to believe it was their own fault. Etc....

Stings and no plugins does not get you banned.

People are dumb. As I said, after asking them a few simple questions we either found out they used other bad hacks or had Stings set up to use the plugin. We had a lot of these problems before Siris made his good Stings MH guide, and we still have them even after but they are not as numerous anymore.

Not on open bnet lol....You can use anything on open and not get banned

Well, I just got done talking to a blizard volunteer, he said you CAN get banned if they catch you. So basicly you can.

But he also said that it is harder for them to ban you on open than closed.
I think I will just stick legit.
The only reason I wanted it because im tired of hackers joining my game;

This way I can see their items and stats to tell if their legit.
And then If they are hacked, my hacked items go on.

They basicly said open battle.net is for hacking.
So why ban you, plugin or not if its for hacking?

u can ask blizzard ANYTHING about a hack, they will always say they will ban u if they catch u. But then again, cant people with banned cd-keys still play open bnet? -.-

well he got a point there lol when u get bacnned you can still play open and signle player lol so blizz is stupid lol they don't know what they are talking about also the reason why half of the programs get cracked and people banned on is because ever site that has d2 hacks on it there is a blizz rep on it duh think about it. it takes them less then like 4 months to crack it half the time coem on people but 2 and 2 togeather.

i got a friend that has been using the same mh sence the new patch and still has not got banned lol i will get a screenshot to prove it lol but it all depends on how public the hack is and his is not so no ban lol.
