In the end you will have one into Grizzly or five into Oak Sage? If that's correct I would go with the Oak Sage, but be ready to recast it frequently.

Yes, may I also suggest that you look at my guide, which is in the character development section, it should answer all of your questions about a Wind Druid. Grizzly is not 100% required, but I would seriously recommend it. You don't actually have to put points into it, i.e. I have a rare Druid pelt that gives +2 Druid +3 Tornado and +2 Summon Grizzly. Have a look and see what's going around, but you will definately be throwing all of your remaining points into Oak Sage.

if you're PvP, then grizzly is nice to have to take damage/finish off/provide for a target

if you're PvM, i'm sure grizzly is a nice addition

is it necessary, no, but it is very helpful, oak sage on the other hand is essential, obviously.

Yeah, Grizzly is extremely useful for solo PvM. If you are always playing with other people, you don't need it, but it's almost essential for any solo play.

In PvP, Grizzly is very nice, because of the Knockback, and he does actually do damage.

Yes, Oak is essential, having no Oak is like having no BO.

Oh and thanks for the compliment hyperformance. If you need any extra help with a Windy, or don't quite understand something, feel free to PM me.
