You want to work on all your muscle groups evenly. Dont do more than you think you can too cause overexerting yourself is more detrimental than beneficial. If your going for straight mass you want to lift alot with few repetitions. Doing little with alot of repetitions is mainly for just toning. Also eat alot of protien and get some ripped fuel or something.

Keep with it building lean muscle mass is way important... doing the corect technique of a stroke is more important than how much weight ur lifting. Weight gainer protien powders are ok but the only supplement that truely works in buiding muscle mass is Creatine Monohydrate. IT is the only one thing that wil add to your Kreb cycle to produce more glycogen cells for enegry and muscle. Also if u wish to have bigger biceps then do preacher curls and concentration curls to bring the peak out more. also wrist curls will help you in strength needed to do more upper body excercises...

exactly, also go one day on one day off, you dont want to hurt yourself, if you want a good weight gain supplement that is legal, try creatin, or xience, i use xience and ive gained 3" on my biceps in a lil under 4 weeks

also like bigdeath said to get mass lift high weights with few repetitions, once you get that mass, lift low weights with lots of reps to tone your muscles

I suggest eating protein. Found in red meat. And egg yolks =]. Then drink milk to replenish your muscles after a hard workout.

Get a steady scheduale going:

Back-shoulders-legs >one day
Chest-abdoman-arms-another day

Try to alternate on days and eating a lot of boiled chicken and white rice will help if you are trying to put on some healthy weight that will be easy to shape.
You can run....but you'll just die tired.

I've found that isolating sections doesn't work as well as a full body workout.

Don't eat red meat due to fat content. For protein stick to chicken and egg's. Those are the top two protien foods out there.

Since your rather skinny you want to consume as much protien daily as you can stand to take in wihtout making yourself sick. So long as you stick to your workouts you'll gain plenty of muscel mass.

Or you can spend lots of money on protein supplements and weight gainers and go that route.

I'm 6'3 @ 165-170lbs (depends what I've eaten and what I'm wearing, haha.) I used to weigh 190 a few years ago at the same height and it all magically went somewhere, yet I'm still pretty skinny. For now what I'm trying to do is what others have said, and that is to do more power workouts rather than targeting a single area. Isolating muscles is what you do when you have muscle mass to work with and you want to develop/tone it further. Power/body workouts help build overall mass that forms the basis of what you will need to isolate at a later time. If you have a hard time at first, you can do a bunch of isolation exercises to get all the muscles going, it just takes more time.

Baby....let us not lose sight of the reality ...based on your age, height, and race....and equally important is your genetic history.

Almost anyone can bulk-up.Having said this, note that it will always be easier for someone whos body type is already geared for it.

As Bigdeath pointed out, there are right and wrong ways to go about this.
I know how serious you are,but don't hurt yourself in the process.

In my 30's I worked out 4 days a week, lifting, isometrics, running, and lots of physical work in my various jobs.Biceps maxed at 13 inches, waist at 23 inches, calves and hamstrings I never measured, but were often commented on.*I did 25 reps of lifting for calves with 110lbs of weight*

Never in my life...have I weighed greater than 140 lbs...and that was at 9 months pregnant!!!I will also never...EVER...surpass being 4 ft 11 inches tall, without the aid of high-heels.

Honey...you are still growing...and I don't GIVE a flying **** what anyone else says....size isn't everything,but being happy with who you are...well...that's priceless.

I wish you all the luck in the world, and I have read your website about this subject. You are well informed and prepared to succeed.

Just keep in mind, bulk isn't everything.

On a side note...DAMN ALL of you big people!!!!*shakes a fist*
