Well, every hack is going to be banned sometime.
Who thinks d2loader might be starting to get people banned soon.
As for now, probably not.
But maybe just one day blizzard might come back at all of us for it rolleyes:

d2 loader doesnt affect any one playing so i dont believe that it will get banned

Yes, it does violate the terms of use also.
It also is a hack.
BTW, D2loader does affect people playing, especially the Multi-Window.

well i dont think it will acording to what hunter says, he rekons that the guy that made d2loader talks to the diablo guys and they let him use it.

Agreed. I think that bnet would like to have this around to satisfy a growing margin of players. Some get on D2 daily to try some hacks. Plus the term OPEN resembles the word Freedom in a sense of the word. I say bnet likes open to be more freedom based. In hopes that it may keep players from trying to hack in normal and ladder. To you guru out there its known that its hard to hack normal but not impossible.

hmm d2 loader is a very nice tool for users and bnet prob wont want to bann it becuase it doesnt realy hurt anything like dupes. i hope bnet doesnt become more uptight and prevent the users with d2loader from enjoing there d2 experience.
and with all this i hope everyone is loving there time with a good free online rpg /action/ stratagy online game. i know i am enjoying it.
again hopfully bnet overlooks d2loader for good.

Blizzard has come out and said *after being asked* to the person that made D2Loader that they would not consider it a violation of the eighth part of the COC (I think it's called that) and would not ban for it.
Unless they decide to go back on their word, I do not think D2Loader will ever be banned.

y not ask blizz directly, "hey im using 3rd party prog :O will i get banned?"
besides, i think d2loader should be accepted by blizz (not including the hax part of d2loader) just because of the multiple d2. we are the consumers of blizz, meaning we should be allowed to run multiple d2's with (x) number of keys because we bought their product fair n square. infact, blizz should make a prog that runs multiple d2's on 1 comp for consumers with multiple keys.
neway, its a 3rd party prog + hax, should be banned by blizz according terms of use :O

I could have sworn that on that page he mentioned something of contacting blizzard and getting the ok. Certinally the amount of time D2Loader has been out there and easily detected have shown they are not banning people for it, but I could have sworn I read someone looked into it before the release back in 1.10
